Planting & Growing Information

  • USDA hardiness zones: 5–11, as listed by North American growers.

  • Sunlight: Full sun, with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.

  • Mature height: Approximately 250–450 cm (8–15 ft), depending on climate and training.

  • Mature spread: Approximately 180–300 cm (6–10 ft), depending on support and pruning.

  • Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost.

  • Watering: Water deeply after planting and regularly during establishment. Avoid waterlogged soil.

  • Support: Provide a sturdy trellis, arch, fence or wire framework. Tie stems loosely to the support as they grow.

  • Training: Guide main canes horizontally or at an angle to encourage flowering along their length.

  • Pruning: Retain healthy main canes, remove dead or damaged wood and shorten flowering side shoots once established.

  • Winter care: Choose a sheltered position and protect the crown and canes in colder climates. Winter dieback may reduce climbing height.

  • Best uses: Arches, fences, trellises, garden walls and cottage gardens.

Plants:

We guarantee that our plants will be healthy and viable upon leaving our premises, and they should thrive during the first growing season if our planting and care instructions are followed. If any issues arise, we will be happy to offer a one-time replacement (if available), a credit, or a refund.

Please note that any warranty claims must be made upon receipt. If there is any quality or transportation damage upon arrival, please report the health condition of the plants within 7 days. Take photos and email them to us for record-keeping. The arrival time is based on the delivery time of the courier.

Before processing a refund, we reserve the right to ask for further information, including but not limited to: pictures, elaboration on planting timing and methods, growing care (including any fertilizers and pesticides used), and plant location. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as received. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

We do not guarantee that our roses and other plants will survive the winter, nor do we provide refunds for plants affected by black spot, powdery mildew, or pests, as these are the responsibility of the gardener. Furthermore, we do not offer refunds for roses with broken or damaged canes during transit if they can be pruned to stimulate new growth.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order. For instance, if there are sudden changes in the quality or availability of our inventory stock that prevent us from fulfilling your order, or orders with special circumstances regarding the shipping address, we may need to cancel and refund it. Examples include but are not limited to: extremely remote areas without courier service, refusal to pay additional courier fees for remote locations, rejection of express shipping methods for long distances or international orders, and inability to receive shipments within the normal time frame resulting in delays exceeding the standard range.

All sales are final, no exchange or returns are possible. Should we choose to make an exception, we reserve the right to charge administration and/or processing fees.

For all varieties including roses, lilies, and bulbs, orders can be cancelled before processing without any additional costs. If the order status is "ready for pick up" or "fulfilled", we will do our best to assist with the cancellation. However, there is a 20% cancellation fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable for cancelled orders.
